Intense Interest in Başakşehir Career Symposium
The Career Symposium, organized by Başakşehir Municipality to contribute to the professional development of kindergarten, classroom and guidance teachers, was held at Başakşehir City Art Center.
The symposium was met with intense interest; IU Career Center Director Prof.Dr. Fulya Aydınlı Kulak, Symposium Coordinator and IU Aviation Psychology Research Institute Director Prof.Dr. Aslı Beyhan Acar, Başakşehir Mayor Yasin Kartoğlu, Başakşehir District Director of National Education Ahmet Coşkun and many teachers attended.
Presentations were made under six topics in the symposium, which lasted all day and was carried out in cooperation with our Career Center, Başakşehir Municipality and Başakşehir District Directorate of National Education. In the presentations made by academics and experts working in the career field of our university, detailed information was given about the methods that can be useful in supporting students within the scope of vocational guidance and career planning processes, thus helping teachers acquire the necessary skills and strategies to guide their students more effectively and create career awareness.
