• Conducting short, mid and long-term fundamental energy market analysis including, electricity price, energy demand and energy supply forecasts

• Responsible for updating the energy market database of the quant team

• Monitoring developments and regulations in the energy market, understanding the effects on the business functions and updating the market models, if necessary

• Keeping an analytical eye on the commodity markets especially Brent, coal and gas and reporting the impacts on the relevant business functions in the company

• Understanding the analytical needs of other departments and designing relevant market intelligence reports and economic models

• Preparing regular and ad-hoc market analysis reports by using business intelligence reporting tool of the company

Aranan Nitelikler                 :

• University degree, preferably graduate of Engineering, Energy Management , Industrial Energy , Financial Engineering, Statistics Econometrics

• Good knowledge of the energy market in Turkey

• Experience in the power market is a plus

• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills

• Good knowledge of statistics, mathematical modelling and forecasting methods (Know-how in corporate or open source statistical models is a plus)

• Continuous willingness to learn and research

• Having good communication and presentation skills

• Strong self-motivation, ability to promote new ideas, share them with the team and develop them further together

• Proficiency in English is a must

• Excellent command of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other MS Office applications

• Strong command of business intelligence reporting tools is a plus (MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlick Sense etc.)
